Palma
Building

This building in an old town of Batroun was constructed in 2 phases.
It was forbidden to change facade, add floors or even touch roman arcades. The biggest challenge was to change the whole interior into 6 units (one, two and 3 bedrooms) respecting the previously mentioned constraints.
The interiors were designed with simple all white materials reproducing typical greek wall finishes and by using materials that can sustain sea salty winds.
The openings on the sea were a must to enjoy the view from maximum functions inside the units but keeping in mind hot summer afternoons and sunsets.
